JustDone AI Review 2026: Accuracy, Pricing & an Academic Alternative
JustDone sells 35+ writing, humanizer and detector tools as one subscription. Before you start a trial, it helps to know what the plan renews at and how well the accuracy claims hold up. We read the pricing page, the subscription terms and the privacy policy on Oct 11, 2026, and turned them into a billing checklist and a cost calculator.

JustDone is an all-in-one AI toolkit (plagiarism checker, AI detector, humanizer, paraphraser and more) sold as an auto-renewing subscription by Techwave Solutions Limited, according to its terms. On Oct 11 and 12, 2026 the pricing page showed a 2-week plan at $9.99 that renews at $19.99 every two weeks, plus 4-week and 12-week plans; some visits on Oct 12 showed a 7-day offer for $2.00 that renews at $29.99 a month instead. JustDone says its detector is 80% accurate overall; a third-party retest reported 59 to 61%, without stating a sample size. If your goal is an academic paper, StudyTexter guides you to a complete draft with real sources, plagiarism and AI-score check included, one-time from $79. You stay the author.
Our verdict in short
JustDone is a toolbox: a plagiarism checker, an AI detector, a humanizer, a paraphraser, a grammar checker and more, all in one subscription[1]. That is handy if you need many small checks across different texts. It is less suited to a job many students have: getting from a topic to a paper they can defend.
Two things are worth knowing before you start a trial. First, the reduced first period renews at a higher price automatically, and you have to cancel at least 24 hours before it ends[7]. Second, JustDone’s own accuracy claim for its detector is higher than the only third-party test we found that reports an accuracy rate[3][10].

Billing checklist: what you agree to when you start
Auto-renewal is where subscription surprises usually happen, so we went through JustDone’s pricing page and subscription terms point by point. This is what they say on Oct 11, 2026:
| Question | What JustDone says | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Is there a trial? | The terms allow free or paid trials. In the 2-, 4- and 12-week offer every plan has a reduced first period; in the 7-day offer only the 7-day access ($2.00) does. | [7][1] |
| What happens after it? | “Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial, you will be automatically charged” the price for the chosen period. | [7] |
| Is the renewal price shown before you pay? | Yes, on each plan card, for example “then $19.99, auto-renews every 2 weeks”. | [1] |
| How do you cancel? | In account settings or by emailing support@justdone.ai. | [1][7] |
| Do you keep access after cancelling? | Yes, until the end of the paid period, unless you ask for your data to be deleted. | [7] |
| Refunds? | “Non-refundable … unless otherwise is stated herein or is required by applicable law.” | [6][7] |
| Withdrawal right? | 14 days for EU users, with exceptions. UK, Canada and Australia are not mentioned. | [6][7] |
| Can prices change? | Yes, “with reasonable notice”. | [6][7] |

- 3Get Started: opens an email sign-up for a JustDone account. We stopped there; the payment screen comes after it.

JustDone pricing and what it costs until your deadline
On Oct 11, 2026 JustDone’s pricing page didn’t use the usual monthly and annual plans. It showed three periods, each with a reduced first price and a higher renewal price[1]:
| Plan | First period | Then | Renews |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2-Week (preselected) | $9.99 | $19.99 | every 2 weeks |
| 4-Week | $19.99 | $39.99 | monthly |
| 12-Week (“Best value”) | $29.99 | $59.99 | quarterly |
On Oct 12, 2026 some visits showed a second offer instead: 7-day access for $2.00 that renews at $29.99 a month, next to a $19.99 monthly and a $119.88 annual plan[1]. The homepage, detector, plagiarism checker and humanizer pages all showed a banner with $19.99 a month[2][3][4][5]. What you see may depend on when and where you land. Check the payment screen before you confirm.

- 1Preselected 7-day Access: $2.00 for 7 days, then it auto-renews monthly at $29.99.
- 2Pro Annual Plan: $119.88 per year, shown as $9.99 per month, auto-renews annually.
- 3Get Started: again leads to an email sign-up first. We did not create an account.
Screenshot of justdone.com/pricing, Oct 12, 2026, 04:18 UTC, taken by StudyTexter[1]. Same page and browser settings as the screenshot in the billing checklist, loaded in a new session. The Pro Monthly Plan ($19.99 per month) is to the left of this crop.
How accurate is the JustDone AI detector?
JustDone’s detector page states “80% accuracy overall and 98% on academic and scientific texts” and says results are most reliable on longer documents[3]. It also says you can check up to 15,000 words in one scan and that your first scan needs no account.
We looked for tests by others and checked who is behind them:
| Source | Who is behind it | Result | Method stated? |
|---|---|---|---|
| JustDone[3] | the vendor | 80% overall, 98% academic | only a note on spot checks against other detectors |
| mpgone.com[10] | AI and marketing agency, no disclosure | 59 to 61% overall, 70 to 79% on texts over 1,000 words | text lengths and edit levels, but no sample size |
| The Rocky Mountain Collegian[11] | listed as sponsored content, links to JustDone | score ranges only, no accuracy rate | partly |
| iTechGuides[12] | affiliate disclosure | repeats the vendor figures | no testing of its own |
So the gap is clear: the only third-party test that reports an accuracy rate found a lower one than JustDone claims, and it does not say how many texts it used. Neither figure is a reason to trust a single score on a graded paper.
What is included in JustDone
Every plan includes the same tools, according to the pricing page[1]. JustDone names 13 of its “35+” tools there; we found no full list.
The plagiarism checker page is upfront about one limit: JustDone “can’t access your university’s private Turnitin database of past student submissions”[4]. That applies to any checker without access to that repository, StudyTexter’s included.
Ratings and user reviews
On Trustpilot, JustDone has 4.3 out of 5 from 9,586 reviews[9]. Trustpilot shows that the profile has a paid Trustpilot subscription, invites customers to review and has replied to 100% of negative reviews.
Some reviewers report problems with subscribing or with automatic charges, and one finds the cost high[9]. These are individual user reports. What the terms say about renewals is in the checklist above.
Company, terms and privacy
- Company: the terms and privacy policy name Techwave Solutions Limited, registered office in Dover, Delaware[6][8]. The address in the website footer varied depending on where we loaded the page from.
- Disputes: US law, binding arbitration and a class-action waiver; you can opt out in writing within 30 days[6].
- Your texts: you keep ownership, but you grant JustDone a perpetual, irrevocable licence, including to improve its AI models[6].
- Privacy: the policy has a GDPR section for users in the EEA and the UK and lists OpenAI among its AI service providers[8].
- Minimum age: 16[6].
We summarize what the documents say as of Oct 11, 2026. This is not legal advice.

Our detector consistency test
We want to know how stable JustDone’s scores are on academic text. One headline number does not tell you that. The test needs a JustDone account, so it is not done yet. We will publish the scores here with screenshots and dates. Until then, this page gives no verdict of our own on the detector.
- Samples. 5 paragraphs written by people before 2022 and 5 paragraphs generated by AI, 250 to 400 words each, from the humanities, social and natural sciences.pending
- Run. Each paragraph unchanged through the JustDone detector and through GPTZero on the same day.pending
- Repeat. Every paragraph checked twice, a day apart, to see if scores change.pending
- Record. Score per paragraph, screenshots, date and plan used.pending
- Billing. Sign-up price, renewal date shown and how cancelling works in practice.pending

Method and disclosure
We read websites, terms and reviews ourselves, back every number with a source and access date, and only add test results once we have them. Found a mistake? We correct it with a date.
On Oct 11, 2026 we read JustDone’s pricing page, homepage, detector, plagiarism checker and humanizer pages, the Terms of Use, the Subscription Terms and the Privacy Policy, plus Trustpilot and three third-party reviews. We name the commercial interest of each source in the source list. We did not create an account and did not use JustDone’s tools. We could not read the Reddit thread on this topic, so we do not cite it.
